Management Board
François LAVASTE . Chairman of the Management Board
François Lavaste took over the presidency of NETASQ's management board in early 2007. Prior to that role, he was the General Manager of TRICIPHER, a specialist in strong authentication, for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He began his career in IT in 1992 as a partner in the creation of Eneide, a CRM software company, publisher of CONSO+, which was acquired by Coheris in 2000. In 1996, he moved to the Silicon Valley where he stayed for 10 years and joined Intuit, the worldwide leader in financial management software. From 2001, as Vice President of Marketing, he contributed to the success of BRIGHTMAIL, the pioneer and leader in anti-spam technologies that Symantec acquired in 2004; as well as to the success of CYANEA SYSTEMS, which specializes in application performance measurement software and was acquired by IBM in 2004; and that of Mindjet, the publisher of the MINDMANAGER software program.

François Lavaste graduated from ESCP-EAP, a European graduate business school, and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dominique MEURISSE . Member of the Management Board - Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Upon joining NETASQ in 2004, Dominique Meurisse first assumed the general management of NETASQ for France before directing NETASQ's Sales and Marketing in 2006.

Dominique Meurisse kicked off his career at 3Com Europe in 1987 first as the Manager of Corporate Accounts, then as the Manager of VARs. In 1991, as the co-founder of network integrator ARCHE Communications, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1999, he became the cofounder of ClarITeam (European QoS operator) and was its General Manager. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Director of Infovista for France and the Benelux countries.

Dominique Meurisse holds an engineering degree of Telecommunication from ESME Sudria Paris and holds and Executive MBA from HEC-PARIS.

Pierre CALAIS . Member of the Management Board - Vice President, Engineering and Operations
Pierre Calais has since the beginning of 2008 occupied the post of Vice President for Engineering and Operations. In parallel to NETASQ's growth, he has thus been tasked with redefining and optimizing the development process and with providing strategic corporate support for all aspects concerning engineering and operations.

As someone who has always been intrigued by information technology in general and the gamble of information security, he was previously an engineer with Bull and subsequently Dassault Electronique, before going on to be a project manager with Cadence Design System. This was followed by a stint as a manager at EMS Documentum, then as a CTO (Zencod). For the three years before he joined NETASQ, he had been the CEO of NetSecureOne.

Pierre Calais has a Master's in Physics and its university applications and holds a PHD in microelectronics and microcomputing from the Paris Diderot University (Université Paris 7).


Management team
Dominique DESTRIEZ . Director, Administration and Finance
Dominique Destriez took over NETASQ's financial directorship in early 2009. He started out in his career as an auditor in PRICE WATERHOUSE's international teams then took part in monitoring management controls for the VICO agri-food group, wherein he developed optimization and industrial performance programs with a Japanese firm. Thereafter, he implemented a financial structure for the NOCIBE distribution group, seeing them through a period of very strong growth (>340% in 3 years). He took part in VICO-INTERSNACK Gmbh joint venture and in the BIOMERIEUX take over on CLABO Laboratories.

In 2006, Dominique Destriez joined the listed group IRD Nord Pas de Calais, specializing in asset management and development capital through 250 contributions.

Dominique Destriez graduated from the ESC Lille School of Management and the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce & Industry and holds a DESCF (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Comptables et Financières - advanced graduate diploma in accounting and finance).

Fabien THOMAS . CTO - Director, Architecture and security
Fabien Thomas is one of NETASQ's co-founders.
Currently the CTO - Director, Architecture and security, he is in charge of product architecture and keeping abreast of attack techniques. He started his career in Cogilab as the manager for research and development on chip-based internet access control.

Fabien Thomas is a graduate of the UTC (Université de Technologie de Compiègne) in data processing engineering.

Xavier LEFAUCHEUX . Sales Director, France
Xavier Lefaucheux's primary mission is to lead the development of French sales activities and to establish the company's leadership in France.

Before joining NETASQ, he was sales director at Juniper Networks responsible for developing sales in the industry sector. Prior to Juniper, he contributed to the sales growth at European high-tech companies including software vendor Infovista where he held the post of south Europe sales director and integrator ARCHE Communications where he was in charge of services organizations and member of the management board.

Marie Pierre CZABAK . Director, Marketing Communication
Marie-Pierre Czabak joined NETASQ in late 2008 to take the reins of the marketing and communication department. She brings with her 15 years of experience with prominent names in software publishing such as Hyperion Solutions (a division of Oracle), Sybase and Mercury Interactive (division of Hewlett-Packard Software).

A graduate of CELSA, she began her career with Interleaf as Marketing and Communications Manager for Southern Europe. In 1994, she joined Hyperion Solutions as Marketing Director for France before pursuing her career with Sybase where she held the post of Channel Marketing Manager for France, and then with Mercury Interactive as Marketing and Communications Manager for Europe.

Before being part of NETASQ, Marie-Pierre Czabak was Vice President of Marketing Communications for MobileWay (a division of Sybase).

Jérémy D’HOINNE . Director, Products
Jérémy D'Hoinne holds overall responsibility for NETASQ product strategy and lifecycle management and is one of NETASQ's security experts. He originally joined the R&D department where he was project manager and in charge of monitoring security threats before moving to the Marketing department.

Prior to NETASQ, Jérémy D'Hoinne contributed to the success of several consultancy projects relating to intrusion tests, overall security and networking with Thales and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

Jérémy D'Hoinne holds an engineering degree in networking and security from EPITA, recognized as one of the top computer science and engineering schools in France.

François DEVIENNE . Director, Customer Services
François Devienne has been the Director for Customer Services and Information Systems since late 2008. He coordinates the activities for Technical Services (Support, Training, Technical Consultancy and Expertise) and Sales Administration and leads the developments for IP infrastructures and ERPs.

Previously with Cisco Systems then Belgacom, he has shaped his expertise in the technologies of operator network, even obtaining CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification. He subsequently joined British Telecom Global Services as a pre-sales engineer and then held a technical consultancy post with Radware and Foundry Networks.

François Devienne graduated from Telecom - Lille with an engineering degree and from the Solvay Business School - Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles) with a Masters in Management.

Edmée LEGAI . Project Director
Edmée Legai is the Project Director and as such is in charge of coordinating and administering all projects, overseeing the project management processes and contributing to the coordination between projects and teams.

She began her career with Meta Systems, being in succession, a research and development engineer, R&D manager - Partitioning and routing, Support Team Manager, then Project Manager/ Emulation Expert. Naturally, her career path also spanned the acquisition of this startup by Mentor Graphics. More recently, she was the Project Director/ OPX2 Consultant with Asco Assistance et Conseil, then Manager of the Resource and Development Center with CEGEDIM Communication Direct.

Edmée Legai has a Masters in Science and Technology in Computer Architectures from the University of Rennes and holds a DEA (French equivalent of a Post Graduate diploma) in codesign software and hardware from the University of Montpellier II.
