Multi-Gigabit IPS Performance
The U6000 relies on an excellent hardware architecture and uses the ASQ intrusion
prevention engine to give the best performance. The ASQ module is located at the heart of the operating system and therefore prevents intrusions directly on network
frames. This unique positioning and the choice of the best analysis algorithms enable
reducing unnecessary data duplicates and preventing disruptions to the connection.
As such, ASQ provides the best performance in intrusion prevention, as much in
throughput as in latency.

The core of the NETASQ Firewall U Series centers around its proprietary system
that embeds firewall features and real-time intrusion prevention. The NETASQ
engine analyzes network protocols in order to detect and block threats, and
thanks to numerous behavioral analyses and different targeted signature

dramatically reducing the risk of false alarms.
