NETASQ's F500 UTM appliance
has a modular design and is available in two versions. Equipped
with 4 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports in its standard version, it is also
the first product in its range to offer up to two gigabit interfaces.
The transition to a high-throughput network is quick and simple with an
F500 appliance, requiring only the activation of licenses, since gigabit
ports are already built into the appliance.
Performance-wise, the F500 supports throughput of up to 450 Mbps in firewall
mode with intrusion prevention activated and 120 Mbps with traffic encryption
(VPN throughput enabled with AES encryption), while providing a high level
of security and excellent accessibility of servers in DMZ. The F500 is
