The NETASQ F200, a perfect model of what
a UTM appliance should be, possesses the full set of security features
found in the NETASQ product range - a stateful firewall, real-time intrusion
prevention system, IPSec VPN hub and SSL VPN access portal, internal PKI
and content filter system (antispam, antivirus and URL filter). While
staying resolutely open to the internet, the F200's built-in IPSec VPN
and SSL VPN features and internal PKI guarantee the confidentiality and
authentication of communications between sites and even to mobile workstations.
Since users can rely on this assurance
that their communications remain confidential, information can therefore be transmitted via media which are less safe, such as the internet,
at just a fraction of the usual cost (compared to a leased line). Inter-site communications therefore become less costly and mobile users can
